Big Brother who shouts in big caps has got a problem with himself!
He sounds like a typical hack(but not all)who lets the value of being self employed(if thats what you call it)gan to his head and makes him think he is the boss!
Thats the problem with the taxitrade,,,,,,too many egos,wheras someone with a bit brain and braun about them is better i think,as they can build a good business which is viable to both the owners and the drivers as the more drivers there is creates more jobs,creates more closer follow ons ,creates less dead miles!creates better profits!
And on a seperate issue here!There is not many firms that i know of invest in the newer standard of company cars that blueline do!
So in answer to the chap who called the owners of blueline greedy…..maybe you should do yer homework first as they plough the profits back into the company and how many firms can you say do that!!!!

real names….car 26, there are strong arguments for and against anonymity within an e-forum such as this. for now i prefer to remain plato-esque and post with a user name, i don’t think that is against the rules of the site, is it? let’s suppose i witness car 26 selling class ‘a’ to the residents of collingwood court and wish to make this info public here. i’m hardly likely to do so using my real name if i know car 26 is a violent mentalist am i?
on the subject of blueline, they seem like a nasty bunch to me too, not like the gentlemen drivers here at central.

i have said a number of times if cetral drivers wants to work at Blue Line i would consider them on application, as i have told you i have had my issues with drivers from Central but will take applicants on face value

I am sick of the gobby ones hiding behind user names too, another Central driver has come on here and he is letting the side down with a user name!

firstly i dont hate blt, i dont really give two f**ks tbh. all that concerns me is when WE down here are struggling to scratch a living and a slice of what litle there is, is taken away by blatant flimping.

i do believe that i have said that in my eyes blt are not the biggets culprits of flimping, but do have a regular bunch of bandits.

i also belive that if the berwick scenario were to continue, it would be harmful to the trade in the long run, great for owners like yourself, but bad for the ordinary drivers, hackney or PH. So if you seeing me being cross border hiring being a personal vendatta against BLT, then your wrong Ihave better things to do in my time.

i have offered my hounest opinion on here, not ‘i’ve heard this’ or ‘enforcemnt told me that’, just MY humble opinion, albeit right or wrong.

i did ask if you were not in court for day 2 & 3 then how you managed to post your opinion of how events went. i do think that is a reasonable question when someone who clearly stutters during this point in the interview was posting the days events as they happened. It may be that you were there and Mr. Savage was wrong. It may be that it is really none of my business.

and Mr. Shanks, sometimes when things are refered to as BLT properganda, it can be taken tounge in cheek.

and finally, when you come on here as proprietor of the north easts biggest taxi firm, to discuss concerns regarding BLT and the trade, you have to accept there will be plaudits and criticism.

afterall what would the world be like if everyone agreed on every aspect in life, ohh excuse me thats the blue line world … (tounge in cheek)

Andy, Blue line have operated Newcastle Hackneys from our office since our conception 50 years ago and no one has ever worried about it other than a Mr Alan Newton a officer for North tyneside back in the high courts in 2003 !! it became clear then we can do exactly what we do. and i don’t see it a problem other than pissing you off !! whats you hatred of blue line based on ?? what harm have we ever do to you other we run our business the same as you do yours !! to make a living !!

Pandora,does the judgement not say that if a hack is used predominately from its own area,then it is doing nothing wrong?
And the council cannot prosecute.Or i am i reading the ruling wrong?
