14 Week Road Closure Shiremoor.

Major works being carried out from 14 Sept for 14 weeks at Earsdon road,Shiremoor. There will be no through road for the whole of this period.

Newcastle-u-Tyne: Roadworks

Newcastle City Council is resurface the Road along Mosley Street between the Swan House round-about and the junction at St Nicholas Street.

The resurfacing work will involve replacing the existing road surface with a new black tarmac surface and renewal of the road markings…………..

Road Closure: Newcastle upon Tyne

From Wednesday 22/07/08, St.Andrew’s Street at its junction with Newgate Street will be closed to all traffic. All traffic that enters St.Andrew’s Street will have to turn around in the turning head at the junction with Newgate Street and exit the area the way they entered………………………………………………………..

Apparently McAlpine staff has spoken to a number of the taxi trade utilising the rank on the north side of St Andrew’s Street and they are quite happy with the proposals.
We have been told that we should know
early next week regarding the reopening of Newgate Street.
