An NVQ for Taxi Drivers?
Now there is a great Government idea to waste a lot of your taxes if ever I heard one. They (the Government) want every taxi driver to get this ‘Qualification’ and are willing to pay for it.
“Good idea” I hear you say but as it costs between £900-£1200 per driver, this is going to amount to a very large sum of money.
It won’t make a better driver out of a bad one except during his course then ,as always happens, he reverts to his old ways,
AND IT WILL NOT REMOVE THE PIRATE TAXIS FROM THE STREETS
